Seven works by Nastia Gladushchenko presented by Day Gallery Blackheath

A series of works about finding freedom and a sense of home, peace and identity in a shifting, tumultuous world. Thinking of my family living in a war zone, their daily challenges and the way their lives have changed drastically, occupies my mind endlessly. My hope is that these works transport us to wondrous realities and a more serene world so that we may imagine ours to be the same one day. I have created an alternate reality of quiet and calm at different moments of the day and each piece contains hidden symbols of peace within it.
