For Utz Sanby Architects in Cammeray, Sydney

‘The softness within (us all)’ is a joyful, vibrant and soft mural located in a laneway connecting two main roads through an office building in Sydney’s North. By creating this semi-secret mural I hope to bring the softness and beauty of plants and humans to the space. The work flows through colours, shapes and tonal references to brick and terracotta nearby and is punctuated by a strong colour on the columns to create another feature and frame each little ‘scene’.

It features Yucca plants that grow beside and transitions into native plants from the area like Sydney red gum, Bottlebrush, Blue Flax Lily, Sydney Golden Wattle, Old man Banksia and a Currawong bird.
